PM Laptop Scheme
The Government of Pakistan has relaunched Prime Minister Youth Laptop Scheme 2025. This scheme aims to digitally empower the youth. The program is part of the “Digital Youth Hub” and will provide laptops to talented students to support education, research, and professional development.
Introduction of Prime Minister Laptop Scheme 2025
Under the Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme 2025, free laptops will be given to deserving students studying in government universities. In today’s era, a laptop is a must-have for education, research and business.
Under this scheme, 100,000 laptops will be distributed on merit so that students can get digital education and learn skills needed for the future.

Eligibility Criteria for PM Laptop Scheme
Eligible Students:
- Must be a regular full-time student in any public sector university.
- Admission to the following programs is required: Bachelor (4 or 5 years), Master (2 years), MS/MPhil, or Ph.D.
- Minimum 60% marks in the annual system or minimum CGPA 2.8 in the semester system.
- Students from Azad Jammu and Kashmir are also eligible.
- Must have valid CNIC or B form.
- Have not previously acquired a laptop from any government scheme.
- The student’s enrollment status must be active.
Ineligible Students:
- Students of a private university or affiliated college.
- Students who have completed their degree.
- Virtual university or distance education students.
- Students who have previously received a laptop from a scheme.
- Foreign students (except students with valid Azad Kashmir documents).
Application Procedure for PM Laptop Scheme
- Visit the website: www.pmyp.gov.pk go to
- Create an account: Register with CNIC and University Email.
- Complete the form: Enter personal and educational information correctly.
- Upload documents: Upload university card, transcript, and enrollment letter if required.
- Review information: Submit the form only when everything is correct.
- Submit Application: Last date before 20 May 2025.
